They deplete alot of soil all the time and they eat ALOT of rotting wood

I hand spray with a fine spray mister but they have done really really well

these like it drier than normal with a moist corner

All I do is aim my nozzle at a corner and allow the water to distribute underneath the top layer on one side

They enjoy semi high humidity with lots of leaf litter and bark pieces

I keep the humidity medium high. Not wet. I just don't allow them to dry out. Every month I add in 1 2" of new soil and new rotting wood. They don't seem to care for leaf litter but I do add in a leaf chop I make. It's just smaller pieces of leaf litter. You'll want a high quality soil and if you can add in flake soil that's a plus
